Our Staff
Heath Care Children Services recruitment procedures ensure that we employ ideally suited candidates, personally interviewed by one of our trained consultants and thoroughly vetted to determine their skills and experience.
They are trained in Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety.
In addition, all our care workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining an QCF (former NVQ) in Health and Social Care.
We constantly ensure staff are developed to their maximum potential which ensure they can undertake their role in a safe and proper manner with minimal risks and provide good quality care to all service users.
All of the staff at Heath Care Children Services are trained to the highest standard and regularly receive on-going training; this ensures you receive the best possible care.
Our support workers are responsible for providing care and support to young people who are living in our residential home.
Duties and requirements of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people.
- Providing a nurturing and stable environment for children who may have experienced instability and disruptions in their lives.
- Encouraging the development of social skills and positive relationships among the children in their care.
- Helping with day-to-day tasks such as homework and household chores.
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to provide the best possible care for young people.
- Ensuring that the residential care setting is clean, safe, and appropriate for young people’s needs.
